August Knitcrate - Indigo Glow

After a short much needed break I am back and ready to make all the things! Last week, the latest KNITCRATE package was waiting for me in my mail box! I can only tell you one thing - this crate is AMAZING!

Each month, a theme is selected. This month's theme is“Indigo Glow” ;a celebration of oceanic blues and deep teals, seashell pinks and worn, and smooth stone and you’ll be getting one of these four stunning colors (two skeins in your shipment) of their Uru.Yarn Speckled Singles base. This yarn is 417 yards (381 meters), fingering weight, and is singles spun. Even though it is 100% Superwash Merino, the best way to care for it is a hand-wash and lay flat to dry. The yarn is honestly my favorite part about the crate.
With your KnitCrate membership you will receive two patterns along your crate, a knit pattern and a crochet pattern. I am currently working up the crochet pattern from August's crate; a shawl named Caribbean Escape and I am loving it! The knit pattern Gullywasher is also a shawl, triangular and with lots of texture, making it perfect for any knitter out there! Honestly, it was really hard to choose which one to make!
