Hook A Stitch Series: Ripple Stitch

I love the texture behind the crochet ripple stitch!

It's a simple stitch combination but gives such a beautiful and textured outcome! This stitch would be perfect for a blanket or a cardigan!

Abbreviations

st(s) – stitch(es)

rep – repeat 

beg – beginning 

sk – skip

rep – repeat

ch – chain stitch

sc – single crochet

dc – double crochet

Foundation: Chain a multiple of 3+1 sts (add 2 sts for foundation chain).

Pattern

Row 1: 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, [1 sc, 2 dc] in next ch, rep from* to last 3 ch, sk 2 ch, sc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in first sc, *sk 2 dc [1 sc, 2 dc] in next sc, rep from* ending sk 2 dc, 1 sc in 2nd of ch2, turn.

Repeat Row 2 for pattern.
