JAPANESE KNITTING STITCH BIBLE REVIEW

The

Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible: 260 Exquisite Patterns by Hitomi Shida

is a book that every knitter should have!

It is already a huge bestseller on Amazon, and I can’t say I’m even a bit surprised; it includes 260 different stitches fully charted with great instructions on all the chart symbols and stitches.

The book itself offers a great amount of inspiration, as lots of interesting and textured stitch patterns from cables to popcorn to twisted stitches you name it, are all inside! Detailed diagrams show how to execute all the basic stitches, plus instructions for a few small projects, a classic hat, a scarf and a lovely set of fingerless mittens, are also included!

I knitted a lovely little sample of an edging pattern but I have fallen in love with it! I'm thinking it would make a lovely scarf! I used some mint yarn I had in my stash and I think it definitely was a perfect match!

The diagram was really easy to follow and afer a couple of rows I even memorized the pattern! Detailed explanations of all the knitting terms are also included making it really fun and easy even for a not so experienced knitter!

If you are looking for a book to add to your library then you should definitely check the

Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible: 260 Exquisite Patterns by Hitomi Shida

 out!

It would also make a lovely Xmas gift for a friends or a loved one!

Enjoy the rest of your day!
