CROCHET TOTE & TOP FOR I LIKE CROCHET

Summer is slowly making its appearance; we lately have warm and sunny days around here which means open windows and lovely crochet on the balcony!  Lovely summer shades of cotton yarn are on top of my stash in summer, as truly cotton yarn is a savior during the warmer days of summer! 

I recently shared  a few projects in the latest issue of I Like Crochet; the Lemon Zest Tote  and the Vivid Coral Reef Top! The tote is made with cotton (Rico Creative Cotton is the brand used) in really cool summery shades of white, blue and yellow! I also attached a pair of wooden handles to really make it the perfect accessory this summer! I was also really excited to see my tote on the cover too!

Also you can find the Vivid Coral Reef Top in the same issue as well! I really love the simplicity behind this top, as the back and front are crocheted (almost) in the same way! I also used cotton yarn to make this project, Schachenmayr Catania Cotton is the brand I used! I really loved the stripe sequence and the color combination! Really summery!
