CLOSED: SPUD AND CHLOE STRIPEY FINE YARN - REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

I am a fan of yarn! I admit it! I have to be honest! I almost fell in love with Spud and Chloe's new yarn series Stripey Fine! Are you thinking of a tons of projects or yet?

The yarn comes in 7 colorways, Tootie Fruitie (pictured here), Mint Chip, Neopolitan, Blueberry Cheesecake, Grape Freeze, Orange Cream and Cherry Sundae! Aren't the names really delightful?
Stripey Fine is comprised of 80% superwash wool and 20% silk. Due to the fine gauge and the superwash capabilities, the yarn is perfect for socks, baby knits, shawls, and cowl and any other fine project you may have in mind!
The Stripey Fine Wristlets pattern is the first design to be released that features Stripey Fine but I chose to make the Dial Up Gloves! I love any kind of mittens so this was the perfect pattern for me to try out! The mitts are worked with DPNS in the round and generally work up pretty quickly! The yarn, oh the yarn, has a really soft feeling, perhaps squishy is a more appropriate word to describe it, and is easy to work with! Upon working the pattern the colors of the yarn mix with each other forming a lovely and variegated effect which is really eye catching! Here are some snapshots of the mitts making!
The lovely people at Spud & Chloe gave me an extra skein of Stripey Fine and copy of Dial Up Mitts to give away to one lucky reader! If you're too impatient and want to have this yarn in your hands now, the Stripey Fine yarn might already be available in your local yarn shop! Also if you've been looking for a great mitts pattern for your or your loved ones, here's even better news, use the code "STRIPEY" from February 9 to the 21th and get 50% off the Dial up Gloves pattern!
One lucky winner will receive:
2 skeins of Spud & Chloe Stripey Fine in Tootie Fruite & a copy of the Dial Up Gloves pattern!
